Mazda Nelspruit Cleans Up!

Mazda Nelspruit decided in 2008 to help clean up our City streets. The Council, obviously under pressure economically, logistically, and lacking man power needed some assistance.

Mazda Nelspruit's Initiative was twofol: one to clean up – two to change the mindset of Department Heads and to try and establish a First World Standard!

Once Riverside was clean and the Riverside C.I.D underway - Mazda Nelspruit moved into the CBD and areas from Piet Retief Street to Ferreira Street. Their own gardeners were used along with unemployed laborers. Nelspruit Ford then started getting really active a few months ago, especially in lieu of the World Cup and our own City being a host to International Visitors.

Council acknowledged the Mazda Nelspruit initiative and in the last few weeks and we have seen a major change and focus from Council in getting Nelspruit cleaned and ready. Mbombela Council welcomes the support from the private sector. Nelspruit Ford welcomes any support from local businesses, and anyone wishing to get involved can make their own advertising board and start cleaning in the areas around their businesses.
